Sony PlayStation Portable PSP Go Latest Brand New Model – Stylishly Sleek, Slim Lite, Gaming Console & Latest PSP Model
5 december 2009 | Category: Computer Technology Gadgets, GamesThe PSP go features a 3.8” slide-out display which also functions as a touch screen for some exclusive applications and covers the modishly designed buttons underneath its slide. It’s a completely new and digital mode of entertainment for handheld gaming devices.
Sony has ditched the conventional UMD drives of the PSP for the sake of an internal flash memory unit, so there is no opening for UMDs on its back. Instead, a built in memory of 16GB will provide you with plenty of storage space to store your favorite images, music and videos. If you are thinking that you will run out of memory, then try the expandable memory (micro SD card) that fits into the memory slot at its side. The flash memory storage will enable cheaper and faster digital downloads for games, videos, TV shows and music from the Sony’s PlayStation Store.
The beautifully designed PSP Go is almost 43% lighter and relatively much smaller than the PSP 3000. Unlike PSP 3000 it is Bluetooth enabled so that you can listen to your favorite music on a cool and comfortable Bluetooth headset or just connect your console to your mobile device to share a file via Bluetooth. You may even like to race your game against your friends on your PSP Go over Wi-Fi.
With 128MB of RAM, the PSP Go is sure to deliver a rich gaming experience. Since UMDs are out of the league, new games are being released for the PSP Go which includes ‘Gran Turismo 4’, Metal Gear Solid, MotorStorm Arctic Edge, Assassin’s Creed, Rock Band Unplugged and Madden NFL 10 and also the PSP Go version of the popular PS3 game, LittleBigPlanet. All these can be directly downloaded to the PSP over the wireless network.
While PSP 3000 and other PSP models will still hold their place in the market, official reports have confirmed that the PSP Go will be unveiled at E3 2009 Summit in June 2009. Though it is set to release in the Japanese Markets in the wake of September, it is slated for launch in the United States and some other parts of the globe on Oct 1 2009 and will be available at a price tag of $249.
The PSP Go “is for people who are already living the digital life style” and faces tough competition against contenders like Apple’s iPod Touch and Nintendo DSi in the market, let’s wait and find out if the PSP Go can perpetuate Sony’s popularity in the gaming arena and continue to lead the way.
